This agent scans your industry, finds what actually changed, and delivers one ranked report of the opportunities worth acting on.

1. market-scanner — searches for recent competitor announcements, funding news, product launches, and trend signals across your specified industry or niche.
2. opportunity-ranker — scores every finding by relevance and urgency, groups them into competitor moves / emerging trends / new tools, and writes a specific recommended action for each top-ranked item.

Every run appends to a market-history log, so you can see how the competitive landscape shifted over time, not just its current snapshot.

Requirements

• Runs entirely on free, built-in research tools (web_search, web_research, x_search) — no paid market-intelligence or SERP-tracking API required.
• Works on Zo Computer natively and on Claude AI (claude.ai with web search, or Claude Code).

Setup

1. Unzip the package into your workspace, keeping the folder structure intact.
2. Edit config/market-scope.md with your industry/niche, named competitors, and the specific trend keywords you care about.
3. Run a starter prompt from starter-prompts.md to try a full scan end to end.
4. For recurring scans, schedule automation-prompt.md weekly or biweekly — fast-moving niches shift quickly enough that monthly is usually too slow.
