My AI, Snapchat ChatGPT

My AI is the name of the chatbot that Snapchat managers have decided to integrate into their instant messaging application. It is a solution based on GPT ( Generative Pre-trained Transformer ) in version 3.5, the same generative model at the basis of ChatGPT , the OpenAI platform launched last November.

My AI is currently only available to US users and exclusively to those who have subscribed to the Snapchat Plus formula . The latter, which can also be activated in our country, provides access to additional features such as badges, priority responses to stories and personalized App icons for a fee of 5.49 euros per month.

According to the rumors currently available, My AI shouldn't remain reserved for the few for too long. In the near future, in fact, Snapchat could make it available to all its users, over 750 million worldwide, respecting the rule according to which Plus subscribers can test the features in the experimental phase in preview.

To chat with My AI, simply access the chat tab located above the one dedicated to conversations, you can query it to receive advice and information on recipes, travel and organization of free time. As in the case of ChatGPT and Bing Chat, all the necessary limitations have been introduced to avoid the generation of controversial outputs.

The chatbot will be improved through interaction with users, which is why the system will archive chats for analysis and diagnostic purposes. As pointed out by the developers of the group led by Evan Spiegel, unexpected behaviors (defined as "hallucinations") are always possible and should decrease over time.
